Referrals and placements
Keep referral information, placement details, support plans and relevant correspondence with the person’s record. Assign reviews and actions to responsible staff.
Daily records, incidents and outcomes need clear ownership and access appropriate to the person’s role.
Workforce and properties
Connect staff records, rotas, training and recurring responsibilities with the services being delivered. Track property work, inspections and outstanding actions.
Managers need to see staffing and operational requirements together when planning work.
Reporting and administration
Agents could organise records for a report, identify missing information and prepare a draft for staff to check. The source material remains available during review.
Responsible staff retain decisions about safeguarding, support and the people receiving services. These decisions are not delegated to an agent.
Service performance
Review placement income, workforce costs, property costs and service records alongside the provider’s objectives. Record actions from management meetings and review progress.
The planned edition requires additional checks for access, sensitive information and continuity before any live use.
Existing systems and migration
Any move from an existing provider system needs a separate assessment of records, permissions and service continuity. Development of Overnhill does not change an existing software service or move its data.
A future implementation would have a confirmed scope, tested migration and agreed responsibilities.
Common questions
Can we use this edition now?
No. The Overnhill accommodation edition is planned for a later release. Discussions can establish your requirements, but a live implementation depends on the software and required checks being complete.
Will agents make safeguarding decisions?
No. Responsible staff retain those decisions. Agents may help organise records, identify missing information and prepare administrative work for review.
Would moving to Overnhill be automatic?
No. A move from any existing system requires a separate decision, a tested plan and agreement on the records and services affected.
